INJUNE district scrub soil block "Ninderra" and Longreach district property Kapunda have both been sold.
"Ninderra" was sold by negotiation for an undisclosed higher price after being passed in at a TopX auction in December for $4.75 million.
Covering 4378ha (10,810ac), the property was sold on behalf of the Parker family of Mt Ogg, Rolleston, who plan to consolidate operations on their three holdings in Rolleston.
Buyers were the Nicol family of Brudle Park, Moree.
"Ninderra", considered one of the better blocks in the Injune district, has good scrub soils, dropping down to a spur of the Great Divide.
Selling agent was Tony Gillett of TopX, Roma, who started a successful December by also selling "Kewpie", a top-quality 1204ha finishing and backgrounding block 70km west of Wandoan and 58km north-east of Wallumbilla.
The 15,677ha (38,711ac) Longreach district property "Kapunda", 60km south-west of Morella, sold through Landmark Richmond for $1.8m.
Vendors were Jeff and Maryanne Forster of Euthella, Richmond, who have sold to extend their Richmond interests. Purchasers were Mt Isa businesspeople, Stewart and Nicole Reseck.
The landform is mainly sweet open shaded pebbly downs country, lightly timbered with gidyea, boree, leopardwood and whitewood.
Top standard improvements are a standout feature, with the vendors recently installing an extensive piped gravity-fed water system over the whole property, quality extensions to two cattle yards and improvements to nine dams.
Other structures include a semi-modern home and machinery and shearing sheds in good condition.
Selling agent was Alan Bodman of Landmark, Richmond.
