The $1.1 billion Brookwater Urban Village has received the green light, with the proposed project Greater Springfield expected to take up to 15 years to complete.
The shopping and residential precinct, approved by Ipswich City Council, will include 514 residential dwellings (including more than 400 apartments) 150 hotel rooms, 20,000 square metres of commercial space and 15,000 sq m of retail area.
