Bride Creek Pastoral has entered into contracts to sell its 5869-hectare aggregation of Orana Park and Shenandoah at Moura outside Biloela, Queensland, for an undisclosed sum.
According to The Australian Financial Review, the company bought the property back in 1980 for $300,000, but industry sources said it could have changed hands at about $900 per acre, equating to a price in the $13 million range.
The buyer is said to be an established local grazier.
Orana has two homes, workshops, staff accommodation, cattle yards and is watered by 12 dams.
It carries about 1700 head of cattle with a turn-off of about 700 bullocks annually.
Shenandoah has a homestead, cattle yards and is watered by three dams. It carries about 800 head of cattle.
The property was being marketed by Ray White Rural.
