Funds approved for joint MLA, AWI venture

05 Apr, 2010 11:13 AM
A JOINT Meat and Livestock Australia and Australian Wool Innovation sheep production initiative has been approved funding for the next three years.

To date, over 6900 Australian sheep producers have been involved in stage one of the Making More From Sheep program since the launch in January 2008.

MLA’s Research Adoption Manager – Sheep, Richard Apps said a key focus of the second stage of the program would be on addressing regionally-specific needs of lamb, sheepmeat and wool producers.
