Glenlands Droughtmaster bull hits $52,500

Registered unled Droughtmaster bulls hit a $52,500 high, while led counterparts soared to $30,000 at the annual Glenlands Genetics Sale, Gracemere.

Posting another total clearance for the Childs families, Glenlands Stud, Bouldercombe, 179 bulls sold to an average of $6534 on the way to a gross of $1.16M

In total 155 registered bulls averaged $6737 and 23 purebred sold to $8000 to average $5152.

Market topper was the 25-month-old, 909kg Glenlands O'Shea (P) selling to the Veivers family, Talgai Stud, Rolleston.

The 909kg youngster was offered in a three quarter share full possession arrangement with the parent stud retaining a share.
