Bonox Luke hits $20,000 high

The Central Brangus Classic at CQLX Gracemere on Tuesday topped at $20,000 for a Bonox Brangus bull.

Selling to the Deguara Family, Bimbora Brangus, Nebo, was Bonox Luke (P), an 810kg, 35-month-old, by Glenwood 192.

Luke scanned 11mm and 7mm for P8 and rib respectively and an eye muscle area of 121 sq cm.

A total of 74 bulls were offered at the sale, of which 73 sold for a clearance rate of 99 per cent.

The sale grossed $395,000 for an average of $5411 per head.

Two bulls achieved the second top price of $13,000.
