Big Country sale kicks off 2012

THE 19th annual Big Country Brahman sale has fired an impressive first blow in the stud sale competition.

Selling a 28-month-old, red, GI Brahman bull, GI Matie for $55,000 to Tim Neville, Hilltops Pastoral, Marmar Creek, the Harriman family from Muttaburra were delighted to top the two-day sale.

David and Julie McCamley, Lancefield D Brahmans, sold the top price grey at $23,000 to Jon and Sue Joyce, The Orient, Ingham.
