QUEENSLAND and NSW competitors have shared the 2009 pro tour titles in the Australian Professional Rodeo Association.
The pro tour titles go to the competitors who have earned the most money over the 2009 rodeo season.
Emerald cowboy Shane Kenny has won another pro tour all-round cowboy title and backed up to win the pro tour title in his best event, the rope and tie.
Alton Downs cowboy Shane Iker was second in the rope and tie after winning the all-round title in 2008.
After winning all three cowgirl titles in 2008, Moree rider Wendy Caban has won another treble, the all-round barrel racing and breakaway roping pro tour titles.
She won the barrel racing title by just $5 in prizemoney from Gundagai rider Adele Edwards.
Millmerran cowboy Peter Moffatt won the saddle bronc pro tour title from Tibooburra rider Anthony Caldwell.
In the bull ride, the winner was Rhys Angland, of Wantabadgery while Gore rider Fred Osman won his first pro tour title in the bareback bronc ride.
Wagga Wagga cowboy Todd Hensley won the steer wrestling pro tour.
In team roping, the winners were Ebenezer rider Mark Knox in the header category and Aaron Bookluck, of Nilma North, who won the heeler category to give Victoria its only pro tour title.
The top 15 in each event have been finalised, and most will compete in NSW and Victoria in the APRA Christmas run from Boxing Day as a forerunner to the National Finals Rodeo from January 7 to 10 at the Gold Coast Convention Centre.
