Gearing up for National Landcare Forum 2010

16 Feb, 2010 03:00 AM
TWENTY years of Landcare and grassroots natural resource management will be celebrated at the 2010 National Landcare Forum in Adelaide on March 23-25.

The 2010 event will share the characteristics of previous forums — part conference, part workshop, part party — to provide a venue where people can learn about the latest science, refine their own skills and form new networks.

Sessions will cover topics as diverse as climate change and carbon sequestration, volunteering, succession planning and food security.

On the final day a tour has been arranged of projects and restoration sites in the Barossa Valley, the Lower Lakes and some urban areas.
