Queensland Roar will be without striker Sergio van Dijk for tomorrow night's clash against Adelaide United, but Charlie Miller and Craig Moore are expected to play.
Dutch marksman Van Dijk hasn't recovered from a calf injury, but Moore pulled through a comfortable international return against Qatar last night without concern and will partner Josh McCloughan in central defence.
McCloughan hasn't played since the last time the teams met in round two due to a hip flexor problem but coach Frank Farina said today he preferred the experienced stopper over youngster Luke DeVere, who has had his hands full with Young Socceroos duties.
"Young Luke has just gotten back (from Thailand with the Australia under-20s)," Farina said. "He's got to head off again Wednesday so Josh will start alongside Craig."
DeVere has also been struggling with a quad stain while Miller is a week-to-week proposition because of a hernia.
