Myrtleford weaner steers to 220c/kg

08 Mar 10 Heavy weekend rain tipped for most Victorian districts confirmed the recent strong demand of the store cattle market at Myrtleford in Victoria's northeast ranges on Friday. In a pre-runner to the East Gippsland mountain sale to be held on Tuesday, prices for grown steers realised 185c/kg to 190c/kg lwt, while the majority of the steer weaner sales ranged from 200c/kg to 220c/kg lwt.
